The Village on Venetian Bay Supports Local Chapter
January 21, 2009 – (Naples, FL) The Village on Venetian Bay will help to raise funds during the
month of February for the annual American Red Cross 2009 Heroes Campaign. The fundraising effort will begin on Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M., at The Village on Venetian Bay and will feature three live bands. A special “Crushtini” drink will be available during the Month of February at the following locations: M Waterfront Grille, Cloyde’s, Steak & Lobster, Miramare, and Bayside. The cost of the “Crushtini” is $10. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the “Crushtini” will be donated to the American Red Cross.
The American Red Cross Heroes Campaign will start on February 4 and end on March 5 with a total campaign goal of $200,000. Members of the community are stepping forward to become “Heroes” for the American Red Cross, each pledging to raise $1,000 to continue to provide the vital services of the Red Cross. The funds will be used to support Red Cross services such as disaster relief, assistance to fire victims, emergency military communications, First Aid, and CPR training, and disaster preparedness information for our community.
