Boat Parade Honors Local Charities With $1,000 Prize
NAPLES, FL (November 18, 2009) – Boaters will show their support for local charities this year in The Village on Venetian Bay Boat Parade, Thursday, December 10. They can enter on behalf of a Collier County charity and win a $1,000 cash donation.
The boat parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and will make its way past the judges table overlooking the water from MiraMare Ristorante and down Venetian Bay, while landlubbers enjoy complimentary face painting, magic shows, live entertainment and more throughout the evening at The Village on Venetian Bay.
"It is especially important this year to do all we can to be creative and help the charities in our community," said Kristin Cartwright, Director of Commercial Marketing for The Lutgert Companies, owners and developers of The Village on Venetian Bay. "We look forward to presenting a check as a holiday gift to a Collier County charity."
Individuals also can enter the boat parade to win a $500 gift certificate to M Waterfront Grille for First Place, a $250 gift certificate to MiraMare Ristorante for the second place winner and an annual membership to Sea Tow for third place. Every boat captain in the individual competition will receive a $25 gift card to MiraMare Ristorante, Cloydes, Bayside Seafood Grill and Bar, Artichoke and Co. and M Waterfront Grille.
