A Recap of our February Favorites at The Village Shops!

As we close out this month, we’re sharing the moments, flavors, finds, and waterfront favorites that made February one to remember at The Village Shops on Venetian Bay!

Join us in March as we welcome spring, along with fresh styles, new menu debuts, and even more memorable moments by the Bay.

 

Favorite Entrée

Choosing just one favorite entrée was no easy task! February was filled with standout dishes across all six waterfront restaurants. However, one meal that surely stood out was Bayside’s Crispy Mahi-Mahi with Julienne Vegetable, Wakame, Ginger, Thai-Honey Sauce, and Mango-Chili Glaze!

Perfectly crisp, beautifully balanced, and even better when paired with a martini and those breathtaking Bay views…CHEF’S KISS!

 

Favorite Appetizer

Hands down, a 10/10 every single time! These Crab + Shrimp Spring Rolls from M Waterfront Grille deliver a golden crispy outside, packed with shrimp and crab on the inside, and then finished off with a drizzle of Sriracha Aioli and two dipping sauces for the perfect appetizer! One bite and you’ll understand the hype!

 

Favorite Bar Bite

Have you tried T-Michaels Steak & Lobster House’s new Bang Bang Chicken Bites? A crispy, breaded chicken tossed in a bold bang bang sauce. This is the ultimate bite that pairs perfectly with their lively bar atmosphere. T-Michaels really raised the “bar” with this new menu option!

 

Favorite Cocktail & Mocktail

This one was a tie! I mean, just look at these photos and you are instantly thirsty! MiraMare Ristorante’s Pink Skies Martini and a Lavender Dream Mocktail topped our February list. Fun fact: Both are best enjoyed under the Naples sun on MiraMare’s waterfront patio

  • Pink Skies Martini: Berry Vodka, Lemon Juice, Elderflower Liqueur, and Wild Berry Compote.
  • Lavendar Dream: Seedlip Grove, Lavendar Syrup, Lemon Juice, Honey, and Club Soda.

 

Favorite Coffee Creation

You can never go wrong with a classic Latte. Smooth, creamy, and worth the stop to Black Letter Coffee + Café! Bold espresso, cloud-like foam, and that signature latte swirl that instantly makes any morning significantly better.

 

Favorite Ben & Jerry’s Flavor

Marshmallow Sky is one of Ben & Jerry’s most popular flavors and it is no secret why! Marshmallow ice cream with marshmallow swirls & gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough & chocolate, chocolate chip cookie dough. One bite and you’ll feel like you’re floating on clouds!

 

Favorite Fashion & Accessory

BU Club had us RED-y for the runway this month. I mean, seriously, let’s take a moment for this striking red mini dress with a feather neckline and cuffs, paired with show-stopping metallic red stilettos, and of course a powerful Pinko purse to complete the look. This was definitely an unforgettable February fashion choice!

 

Favorite Scenery Snapshot

Thanks to our artificial reef (215 reef balls and 4,300 cubic yards of riprap), marine life is thriving at The Village Shops. Schools of fish are flowing, birds are dipping into the water, and the dolphins have been putting on a SHOW! Nearly every hour, fins are spotted just over the railing, making this February even more fin-tastic!
