Christmas Came Early at Grace Place During The Village Shops’ Annual Bike Giveaway!
On Friday, December 13th Santa, Mrs. Claus, The Village Shops Marketing Team, and Western Bike joined forces to spread festive cheer at Grace Place. The holiday spirit rolled in as Christmas came early for 98 deserving children at the Bike Giveaway Event!
In preparation for the middle and high school students’ arrival, goodie bags filled with bike helmets, locks, and personalized tags awaited their new owners. Meanwhile, the outside area was transformed into a Christmas Courtyard of wheels as far as they eye could see, with shiny new bikes lined up, each topped with a festive bow.
As the afternoon unfolded, each child arrived one by one, grabbing their goodie bags and enjoying a special visit and photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus before heading to the courtyard. Their excitement peaked as they spotted their very own bike waiting just for them.
With help from Western Bike, each child found and was perfectly fitted for their new ride. Helmets were strapped on, and soon the courtyard buzzed with the sound of whizzing wheels as they happily pedaled away on their new bikes.
The Village Shops is proud to support Grace Place and their heartfelt mission to provide pathways out of poverty through education. With a vision that all families in Golden Gate have access to education to break the cycle of poverty, this event was a meaningful way to spread Christmas joy, providing beautiful new bikes to 98 children in the organization, while investing in a brighter future for our community.
