Enjoy a Night of Lights at The Village Shops Grand Illuminations!
‘Tis the season for one of The Village Shops’ most anticipated events of the year. On Friday, November 29th, from 5-8pm, gather with family and friends for the annual Grand Illuminations and watch as The Village transforms into Naples North Pole, illuminated by over 100,000 lights.
Grand Illuminations will be nothing short of a magical holiday experience with a number of kid-oriented and family-friendly activities to help get the whole family in the holiday spirit. Take part in face painting, a snow show, and sing along to the carols performed by the Dickens Period Carolers.
That’s not it! Be sure to secure your spot front and center by the stage as Dance Arts By Maria “wows” the audience with several dance numbers performed by their talented team. The festive dancers will have the whole audience tapping along to the holiday tunes, starting at 6pm.
Santa and Mrs. Claus are also making a special trip to Naples North Pole to visit with all the boys and girls to review many holiday wish lists! You can catch Santa in his favorite spot, stationed in front of the beautifully decorated and brightly illuminated Christmas tree on the north side of The Village Shops. Dress in your holiday best to capture complimentary printed and emailed photos. Then be sure to stop by the south side of The Village Shops to read holiday stories with Mrs. Claus at her Winter Wonderland tent located in front of Mondo Uomo on the south side of The Village Shops.
The favorite furry and reptile friends from Kowiachobee Animal Preserve will be around all evening long interacting and taking photos with guests. You won’t want to miss the special appearance from Kowiacbobee’s beloved Bengal Tiger, Sabeena. Spot Sabeena on the south side of The Village Shops in front of Mondo Uomo.
At 7pm, all the guests will be “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” ready for the Tree Lighting Ceremony to take place. Pull out your cameras and watch, as the tallest tree in Naples glows in the night. Along with the tree lighting, also starting at 7pm, the snow show will send flurries into the night sky.
For event parking, there will be a complimentary shuttle available at the Northern Trust parking lot located at US41 and Park Shore Drive (4001 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34103), which will run continuously and bring guests to and from the Winter Wonderland.
