An Evening to Remember at Couture, Cuisine, and Charity!
The Village Shops on Venetian Bay hosted another fabulous Couture, Cuisine, & Charity Fashion Show on Thursday, March 22. Guests arrived early, anxiously awaiting the viewing of this season’s latest fashions from several of our beloved retailers.
As guests took their seats, they were pleasantly surprised to find Village Shops’ bags filled with all kinds of goodies!
VIP guests checked-in, taking their seats alongside the stage. The VIPs socialized with friends, sipping champagne and tasting the delectable cuisine from FISH and MiraMare, waiting for the show to begin.
The chatter settled as the fabulous and fashionable Kristen Sanchez, Wink News Reporter and this year’s emcee, took the stage styled head to toe in J&K Collections.
The music was cued… and the models took the runway! Following along in the program book, guests saw it all – resort, casual, swim, cocktail, and formal wear. The models sported looks that could be worn for any occasion.
The finale was perfectly executed, as guests were reminded of all the beautiful runway looks. A special “thank you” goes out to Michaela & Co. for pairing together truly show-stopping looks from our participating retailers – All About April, the b. store, Casanova Boutique, Chico’s, DanaTyler, J&K Collections, J.McLaughlin, Lux Boutique, Mondo Uomo, Panache, Patchington, Sara Campbell, Tommy Bahama, Whispers of Naples, and Wildflower.
The fun didn’t stop after the finale. After the show, guests joined the Sip and Sample portion of the evening, by making a donation to a very worthy cause. A $50 donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, allowed guests to enjoy tastes and wine from our restaurants as well as many retailers.
In addition to the proceeds from the Sip & Sample, The Village will also be donating 10% of sales from collected receipts, now through Sunday, March 25th, to support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We hope had a great night full of fashion and food, and will join us next year!
