In the blink of an eye, another year has already gone by, and March is a day away! Here at The Village Shops, March has us thinking of Mardi Gras and all things purple, green and gold! Mardi Gras is often associated with beads, masks, and food. However, Mardi Gras is actually French for “Fat Tuesday”, emphasizing the last night to eat rich, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lent season. This year Fat Tuesday falls on Tuesday, March 5th.
