Grand Illuminations: An Incredible Night of Magic, Music, & Memories at The Village Shops
The holiday spirit was in full swing at this year’s Grand Illuminations event! Crowds of merry guests, dressed in their holiday best, gathered to enjoy the festivities. The sounds of the Dickens Carolers, singing everything from “Feliz Navidad” to “Jingle Bells”, led the crowds to the show-stopping Christmas Tree, which stood tall as the center of the celebration. There was no better way to kick off the holiday season at The Village Shops than with a tree lighting event that brought Santa, singing, snow!
Santa, sitting front and center as the star of the show, was busy all evening long. He greeted excited children with his jolly smile and listened intently to their Christmas wish lists. Each family left the event with more than just memories but also with candy canes and complimentary framed photos of their magical visit with Santa!
Santa Claus wasn’t the only guest of honor at Naples North Pole! The mischievous Grinch made a surprise appearance. He was caught plodding around with his trademark scowl, attempting to steal Christmas but instead settling for a few waves, high-fives, and even some laughs from the crowd.
With a beautiful sunset came a series of surprises! At 6 o’clock on the dot, the crowd counted down! As soon as they reached “one”, the tree came to life with a dazzling display of lights against the night sky. Snow flurries danced through the air while the carolers performed “Let It Snow”. To call this moment and the entire evening “magical” would be an understatement!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this unforgettable night! The fun doesn’t stop here! Mark your calendars for more holiday magic.
