It was a Holly Jolly Holiday on the Bay at The Village Shops!
The Village Shops hosted the most magical Santa Sendoff event, Holiday on the Bay, on Saturday, December 21st. From 3:00 to 7:00pm, Santa parked his sleigh and shared the day with families as everyone enjoyed an evening of laughter, music, and festive fun!
Santa, along with Naples’ tallest Christmas tree, stood front and center as the stars of the show. The man in the big red suit sure was busy all evening long discussing holiday wish lists, posing for photos, and sending kids on their way with candy canes, photo keepsakes, and twinkling eyes full of excitement as they anticipate his arrival at their homes in a few short days!
Adding even more merry magic to the night were special appearances from the lovely Mrs. Claus, mischievous Grinch, with his signature scowl and playful antics, and the graceful Frozen Princesses, Anna and Elsa, who enchanted guests with hugs and photo opportunities.
The holiday spirit rose to an even higher note with the sounds of the Naples Carolers. Dressed in elegant Victorian costumes, the carolers sang crowd-favorite songs including “Feliz Navidad” and “Jingle Bells”. At 6:00pm, “Let It Snow” traveled through the speakers as snow flurries simultaneously fluttered across the Naples’ night sky. Anna and Elsa, dancing beside the dazzling, illuminated tree, must have been the culprits for such an incredible snow show!
Additionally, the festivities carried over to T-Michaels Steak & Lobster, where they drew quite the crowd hosting their Christmas Music Extravaganza. Guests enjoyed a special performance from the Grammy-nominated music group, Violectric, whose electrifying songs kept the crowd dancing all evening long. The atmosphere was buzzing with holiday cheer as the complimentary champagne was flowing and the appetizers were enjoyed!
