Philanthropy: The Village Shops Supports Local Non-Profit Organizations!
In December of 2018, Naples Daily News published an article stating that Collier County was ranked in the top 10 as one of the most generous counties. Naples’ high ranking and the prestigious title as one of the “Most Generous Counties” has been earned due to the generosity of the community as a whole. The popular saying states “It Takes a Village” and that could not be more accurate in terms of philanthropy. The Naples community’s yearly funds raised for charity encompass the efforts of local businesses, philanthropists, volunteers, non-profit employees, and many more.
In Naples, philanthropy is of utmost importance as is the social responsibility to partake in community outreach programs and build longstanding partnerships. Collier County has 300+ 501c3 organizations supporting causes to better the lives of people and animals as well as support the advancement of arts and education. This comes as no surprise as Naples’ yearly social calendar is packed with galas, 5ks, golf tournaments, food and wine festivals, luncheons, and many more events!
The Village Shops is proud to contribute to Collier County’s title and be actively involved in philanthropy in Naples by donating tens of thousands of dollars to local organizations each year. The Village Shops implements a number of philanthropy-based annual initiatives including cash mobs, auction packages, goodie bag donations, charity events, fashion shows, sponsorships, pop up galleries, and more. In addition to generous donations, The Village also provides additional gifts of awareness and exposure for the mission of each organization.
The community partners who benefit from the many events and initiatives put on by The Village include, but are not limited to, the following organizations:
