Santa is at The Village Shops for a Few More Days!
On Saturday, December 14th, The Village Shops on Venetian Bay welcomed back Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Dickens Carolers, Kowiachobee Animal Preserve, and Dance Arts by Maria for another Holiday on the Bay event.
Within moments of Santa arriving in his signature big red chair, the line for photos grew rapidly. Throughout the evening, Santa visited and took pictures with dozens of little ones anxiously awaiting his visit on December 25th. Each family received a complimentary printed and emailed photos as a keepsake of their memories with Santa.
At 6pm, Dance Arts by Maria took the stage. For a full hour, the talented dancers of all ages performed group dances, duos, and solos to a number of Christmas songs. The crowd couldn’t help but stop what they were doing and focus all their attention on the beautiful dancers in their sparkling, sequined attire.
After the dance performance, just as the forecast predicted, snow flurries fell on both the north and south side of The Village Shops. On the north side, Naples’ tallest Christmas tree lit up beautifully with snowflakes on the branches. All the while, on the south side, Mrs. Claus gallivanted in the snow with the children.
No need to worry if you missed out on last weekend’s fun. There are two dates remaining for Holiday on the Bay. Saturday, December 21st from 5pm-8pm, as well as Christmas Eve from 2-5pm, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance to visit with family and friends before heading back to the North Pole to prepare presents!
There are only 7 shopping days left until Christmas! While at Holiday on the Bay, stop in your favorite Village shops and find that perfect gift to cross off everyone on your list!
