Scoops & Dolphin Sightings: Save the Date for a Sweet Day on the Bay!
It may be a coincidence that Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day and National Dolphin Day fall on the same day, but at The Village Shops, it was definitely meant to be! On Tuesday, April 14th we are bringing the best of both worlds together for a day filled with sweet treats, waterside sights, and family fun on the Bay!
The Coolest Celebration
This month is about to get a whole lot “cooler”! Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day celebration takes place on Tuesday, April 14th. From 12pm-8pm, stop by Ben & Jerry’s for a complimentary scoop of your favorite flavor. Whether you go classic or try something new, it is the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a sweet scoop.

First step: choose your flavor! It might be the toughest decision you make all month with options as tasty as Marshmallow Sky, Ultraviolet, and more! Once your cone is in hand, take a stroll along the waterfront, soak in the beauty of the Bay, and see what you can spot!
Fun Above (& Below) the Bay
Just beyond the waterfront walkway, you’ll discover a thriving marine life. The Village Shops has installed 215 concrete reef balls and over 4,300 cubic yards of riprap around the perimeter of the seawall to serve as an artificial reef. That means at any given moment, fish are flowing and dolphins are feeding!
We once overheard a Village guest say that a dolphin encounter here instantly pulls you into the present and no matter how many times you see it, it never gets old! Perfectly said! While peering over the railing, you’re brought into a peaceful, present state paired with a rush of high-energy excitement all at once.
