The Village Shops Hosted a Record-Breaking Wine Around The Water Supporting Snip Collier!
On Saturday, September 23rd, guests wined, dined, and had a good time at the 2023 Wine Around The Water event benefitting Snip Collier. We are elated to report that this year’s event was a success all around with perfect weather, fabulous guests, and record-breaking ticket sales raising almost $12,000!
From 5-7pm, wine lover united ready to sip and stroll through The Village having a great deal of fun in the process! As guests arrived, they were greeted by the Snip Collier team where they checked in and in return for a $20 donation received a Village Shops wine glass, passport, exclusive discounts to the restaurants, and wine samples from the participating merchants.
The Village Shops restaurants and retailers poured glass after glass for hundreds of people. All evening long red, white, and rosé wines paired perfectly with the Venetian Bay views. Guests followed the path of their passports stopping several times to shop the beautiful merchandise that couldn’t help but catch their eye. As they made their rounds, attendees also stopped at the photo booth to capture a high-quality photo with their high-quality company.
The fun didn’t stop there! Three adorable 6-week-old puppies and their mama also made an appearance! The playful pups were the hit of the night, batting those puppy dog eyes at all the guests and enjoying the endless adoration and attention.
As the event came to a close, The Village Shops’ sparkling waterfront restaurants filled. Guests took advantage of exclusive discounts on the passports and enjoyed more wine, delicious dinner, and breathtaking views. The evening of sips, smiles, and socializing continued!
Thank you to all who joined in the fun at Wine Around The Water and supported Snip Collier! Since 2019, The Village Shops has partnered with Snip Collier supporting their worthy mission to end the suffering and neglect of dogs and cats in the community. The coming together of The Village Shops, Snip Collier, and the local community for this event each year has helped raise an accumulated $40,000+ for Snip.
