Women’s History Month Spotlight: Wildflower

Today we continue our Women’s History Month series by recognizing Wildflower Boutique, a women-owned business that has been inspiring confidence and style for over 40 years, offering exclusive collections of sportswear, special occasion, and one-of-a-kind accessories.
Established in 1984 in a small 500-square-foot store in downtown Fort Myers, Wildflower was founded by Connie Sims and her mother, Jan Cabana. With Connie’s degree in art and art education and Jan’s retail expertise, they created a unique ‘art-to-wear’ boutique that quickly became a destination for stylish, high-end fashion.
In 1990, Wildflower expanded to The Village Shops on Venetian Bay, and by 1992, Connie became the sole owner. Over the years, the boutique has evolved, adding a special occasion salon in 2014, specializing in Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom gowns.
Now, as Wildflower celebrates its 41st anniversary, Connie continues to innovate, becoming a License Holder, as well as Certified & Accredited in the Universal 4X4 Color System – 16 Seasons® offering the unique experience of a fusion of style and image with retail. Wildflower boutique is the first to offer color analysis, body shape analysis and other image consulting services to enhance the experience for clients desiring to create their personal branding and style.
Celebrate women-owned success, innovation, and style this Women’s History Month by visiting Wildflower at The Village Shops, located on the south side of The Village Shops in suite 4222!
